Who can write a prescription in Barcelona?

How do I get my regular medication in Barcelona?
The prescription request service at The Holiday Doctor enables you to receive your regular, repeat medication, without having to pay clinic fees or visit a clinic. One of our doctors will conduct a consultation based on the information you have provided to enable them to write a prescription. This will then be emailed to you for you to present to any pharmacy.
How much does an online prescription request cost at The Holiday Doctor?
We provide a standard fee per prescription request consultation, for a maximum of three medications. If you need more than three you will need to create an alternative request. We charge €30 per prescription request consultation. The cost of the medication is separate and is paid at the pharmacy.
How is The Holiday Doctor regulated?
The Holiday Doctor is regulated by each country in which it operates. If you are in Spain, and the prescription is for a Spanish pharmacy, the consultation is regulated by the Spanish Ministry of Health. The doctor is also regulated by the medical college in which they are registered, which is Spain. Our doctors are also registered in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

Abused medication - such as those used by some for recreational/educational purposes (eg ritalin)
Closely monitored medication - such as those requiring regular dose adjustments by a doctor (eg warfarin)
